We develop bespoke hardware using established tool chains: schematic, layout, simulation and validation are all done in-house. Your data stays on our own server. This takes you from idea to production-ready design in a predictable way.

02 Electronics manufacturing

From fully automated to hand soldering

In certified quality, we manufacture your assemblies at our site in Löhne, from the first assembly through to tested delivery.

SMD and THT on one modern line

On our SMD line we assemble printed circuit boards fully automatically and with high component density. We solder conventional components on wave and selective soldering systems or by hand. This lets us produce almost any assembly, from a compact control unit to robust power electronics.

Our core competence lies in assembling and soldering assemblies in production runs of 1,000 to 200,000 units per year.

Surface-mount assembly on our automated line, with reflow soldering and high component density.

SMD assembly

Solder paste is applied to the pads through a stencil, placement machines set the components precisely, and in the reflow oven the solder melts and bonds everything firmly. Ideal for compact assemblies with high density.

THT assembly and wave soldering

THT assembly

Leaded components, soldered by wave and selective soldering or by hand. Sturdy and durable.

THT assembly

Leaded components are inserted through pre-drilled holes and soldered using the wave or selective process, by hand where needed. Especially robust mechanically, for example for connectors and large capacitors.

Solderless connection technology

Press-fitting connects components without heat: reliable, repair-friendly and robust.

Solderless connection technology

Slightly oversized pins are pressed into the plated-through holes. This creates a stable electrical connection entirely without heat, gentle on the components and reversible for repairs.

Conformal coating

Conformal coating

Conformal coating protects against moisture, dust and chemicals and extends the service life.

Conformal coating

A thin layer of lacquer is applied by spray, dip or selective process and cured with UV light or heat. It protects against moisture, dust and chemicals without disrupting thermal management.

Potting

Embedding in an insulating compound, for protection against vibration and the environment and greater electrical insulation.

The assembly is fully or selectively embedded in resin or silicone. This protects against vibration, moisture and mechanical load, improves insulation and increases thermal stability.

From fitting into the housing to the connector: we join your components into the finished unit.

Final assembly

Fitting circuit boards into the housing, screwing, aligning and attaching connectors: the individual components become a robust, fully functional unit built to your specifications.

High-resolution cameras create a 3D model of the solder paste. Volume, height and area are measured, and faulty assemblies are sorted out.

After soldering, cameras and image processing detect misplacements, missing components and soldering defects. Anything flagged is checked again by a member of staff.

Test probes contact defined points and find short circuits, open connections and defective components on the circuit board.

ICT and functional test in one step: electrical testing and function together. Saves test time, ideal for circuit boards for final assembly at the customer's site.

Step 05 Functional and end-of-line test

EOL

Functional test under real conditions and end-of-line test at the end of the line. The finished product leaves us fully functional and tested.

Beyond inline inspection, we validate to customer requirements against EMC, ESD and environmental influences such as temperature and humidity. We carry out these tests in-house and with external laboratories.
